The Madani Qaida is the essential beginner’s guide designed to teach students how to read the Holy Quran correctly from the very beginning. This course is perfect for absolute beginners of all ages—both children and adults—who cannot yet read Arabic script or wish to correct their pronunciation of the Arabic alphabet before moving on to Quran recitation.

Students will start by learning the correct pronunciation of individual Arabic letters from their proper origins in the throat and mouth (Makharij). As they progress, they will learn how letters join together to form words, the rules of vowel movements, and basic rules of Tajweed (such as stretching and pausing). By the end of the course, students will be able to confidently look at and read Quranic Arabic words on their own.

The duration of the course varies depending on the student’s age, starting capability, and practice schedule. On average, younger children complete the Qaida in about four to six months, while adults and older youth often finish it faster. Our teachers focus entirely on quality and correct pronunciation, ensuring a student never rushes through a lesson until they have fully mastered it.

While the curriculum remains the same, the teaching approach is completely different. Children learn through highly patient, repetitive, and engaging methods to keep them focused. For adults, our instructors use a more analytical and streamlined approach that respects their time, focusing heavily on correcting pronunciation errors and explaining the logic behind Tajweed rules.
